PeaceOilJobs.ca connects workers, employers, and training providers operating throughout the Peace Region. We facilitate connections between job seekers and employers but do not guarantee hiring outcomes or employment. All hiring decisions are made solely by the respective employers.

3. Account Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, current information when creating profiles or submitting job postings.
• Maintain the confidentiality of login credentials.
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• Keep your profile information up to date.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post misleading or discriminatory job opportunities.
• Harvest or misuse personal data from other users.
• Interfere with the security or availability of the site.
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
• Spam or send unsolicited communications to other users.

5. Employer Services

Employers may purchase promoted listings and outreach services. Payment terms are provided at the time of booking. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws. Job postings must accurately represent the position, compensation, and working conditions.

6. Job Seeker Conduct

Job seekers must provide truthful information in their profiles and applications. Misrepresenting qualifications, certifications, or work history is prohibited. You are responsible for verifying the legitimacy of job postings and employers before accepting employment.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on PeaceOilJobs.ca, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of PeaceOilJobs.ca or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. User Content

By submitting content to our platform (including job postings, profiles, and communications), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content for the purpose of operating and promoting our services. You retain ownership of your content.

9. Limitation of Liability

PeaceOilJobs.ca is provided “as-is.” We are not liable for damages arising from use of the platform, including employment decisions made by third parties, loss of data, or interruption of service. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for using our services.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PeaceOilJobs.ca and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to PeaceOilJobs.ca at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the courts of Alberta.

13. Changes to Terms
