**Dawson Road Maintenance** is looking for **Seasonal Operators, holding a Class 1 or 3 license**, who will skillfully navigate frozen roads, clearing snow and ice, along with other duties to ensure our roadways are safe for all travelers. In this role you will be a valued member of **Dawson Road Maintenance**, working in a temporary, full\-time position of **Seasonal Operator**, reporting to the Road Foreperson. This position requires an experienced operator to meet company production objectives and work within specified tolerances We are currently hiring in **Fort St. John, Montney, Hudson's Hope, Rose Prairie \& Buick Creek, Cecil Lake \& Clayhurst, Fort Nelson, B.C**. and may require some travel throughout our great province. **NOTE: THIS IS NOT A FLY IN FLY OUT.** **WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE** * Must prioritize safety of self and others in all aspects of the job * Work collaboratively with all team members to successfully complete tasks at hand, and other day to day duties to keep our roads and service area safe and clean * Ability to perform unskilled manual work requiring little previous training or experience but involving physical effort * Operate heavy equipment in all weather conditions, on public roadways in a safe and appropriate manner * Follow direction of the Supervisor regarding daily production schedule and activities * Maintains a daily activity of work in progress and status of completion * Maintain proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment * Complete all work reports and maintenance logs **WHAT YOU BRING** * Minimum two (2\) years of road maintenance and/or construction experience * Valid Class 1 preferred, or 3 Drivers license is required * Two (2\) years commercial driving experience is an asset * Experience in snow removal is considered an asset * Knowledge of road construction materials, road construction processes and industry requirements * Heavy Equipment Operating Certificate an asset * Able to manage electronic reporting using tablets * Minor equipment maintenance **BENEFITS** Looking to be a key member of a well\-established family\-owned company?
