Job description

**Location:** Fort St. John, BC **Job Type:** Full\-Time, Permanent **About the Role** We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our growing team in the Oil \& Gas sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems in industrial production facilities and field assets, while ensuring the highest standards of safety and operational reliability. **Responsibilities** * Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems and equipment. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, MCCs, VFDs, PLCs, and other electrical components. * Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation devices including pressure, flow, level, and temperature transmitters. * Read and interpret electrical drawings, P\&IDs, and technical documents. * Diagnose and repair electrical and instrumentation faults in production facilities. * Support commissioning, shutdowns, and plant turnarounds. * Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company \& client Health, Safety, and Environment policies/procedures. * Be capable \& comfortable in the use of electrical and instrumentation test equipment. * Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports. * Perform daily administrative, and material ordering duties as required. **Qualifications** * Journeyman Red Seal Certification * Valid Class 5 driver's license * Intermediate First Aid, H2S Alive, CSTS, CSO, and Fall Protection certifications. **Experience** * Minimum 3 years of Oil and Gas maintenance experience. * Strong instrumentation experience. * Experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial control systems. * Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, loop diagrams, and P\&IDs. * Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship. * Excellent communication and problem\-solving skills. **Assets** * Dual\-ticket Electrician/Instrumentation Technician. * Experience working in upstream, midstream, or processing facilities. **Compensation \& Benefits** * $50\.00\-$52\.00/hour * Comprehensive health and dental benefits * Overtime opportunities * Training and professional development support * Stable, long\-term employment with a growing company Apply Today If you are a safety\-focused Maintenance Electrician with strong instrumentation experience and a passion for the Oil \& Gas industry, we'd like to hear from you.
