Experienced HDD Driller/Locator and Operator, preferably with a Class 1 Drivers License

K Tec Industries Inc. is a locally owned, directional drilling company that has provided services to many oilfield and utility companies for almost 30 years. We are a growing company and are looking for the right candidate to join our team. We are currently hiring for the position of HDD Driller/Locator preferably with a class 1 licence . We offer competitive wages and benefits. Wage will be based upon experience and credentials. Duties: \- Operate HDD Rig and/or Operate and locate for horizontal directional drilling rigs \- Follow drilling plans and specifications provided by project managers \- Monitor drilling operations to ensure safety and efficiency \- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on drilling equipment \- Maintain accurate records of drilling activities Qualifications: \- Experience operating Vermeer 100,000lb drill and Ditch Witch 30k and 40k \- Must have First Aid, H2S, , ESC CSO, and Ground Disturbance \- Class 1 licence considered an asset \- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for operating drilling equipment \- Ability to read and interpret drilling plans and specifications \- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions \- Ability to work in outdoor environments at all times of year \- Excellent problem \-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues \- Speak and write fluent English \- Willing and able to pass a drug test as well as criminal record check. **Note: Prior experience as a driller or locator is a must.** At our company, we offer competitive pay rates, opportunities for career advancement, and a supportive work environment.
