If you’re an Apprentice Electrician looking for a stable and supportive environment to develop your skills, we encourage you to apply and join their dedicated team. **Detailed Job Description:** * reads and interprets drawings, blueprints, and electrical code specifications to determine layouts of industrial electrical equipment installations * test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance * installs, examines, replaces or repairs AC/DC motors and drivers, PLC’s, 480V power, 120V control circuits, 4160 volt switchgear, transformers, motors, starters, relays and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical contrails * installs, examines, replaces or repairs electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber optic, and coaxial cables assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components * performs preventive maintenance inspections and testing of various electrical systems (including power distribution equipment) * sizes and installs electrical circuits including panels, wire size and type, conduit, protective devices, switches, and related equipment needed to comply with CEC and/or NEC * quickly repairs electrical failure and replace parts where incorrect applications could cause danger and hazardous conditions * corrects wiring and connections on machinery controls where incorrect applications could cause danger and hazardous conditions * fabricates, installs and/or runs conduit, 3\-phase work, motor terminations, troubleshooting and panel work * works on systems operating at 240 volts wye, 480 volts wye, 480 volts delta, 4160 volt switchgear, ammeters and Pc’s * conducts preventions maintenance programs and keeps maintenance records * may install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices * complies with standards and procedures of the medallion health and safety manual and occupational health and safety regulations * must make reasonable efforts in trade advancement **Requirements** Requirements:* Must be indentured into the trade * Valid class 5 driver’s license * Eligible to work in Canada * Industrial oil \& gas experience is an asset * Familiarity with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) is an asset * Valid H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Fall Arrest, Aerial Work Platform and CSO certifications are an asset * Flexibility for shift work, overtime and weekend availability is an asset **Benefits** Why apply? * Referral Program incentives * PPE Allowance * Consistent work * Company events * Dental care * Extended health care * Vision care * Flexible schedule
