**Job Title:** Vegetation Management Labourer / Spray Assistant **Job Type:** Part\-time or Full\-time **Start Date:** Immediately **About Our Company:** North Ascent Environmental is a family\-run private business in Fort St. John, providing vegetation services across Alberta and British Columbia for over 21 years. **TRAINING** * **Field \& Mechanical experience an asset** * **Requirement – Industry Tickets \& PPE** * **On\-the\-job training provided** **POSTION DESCRIPTION** * **Reliable, responsible, and hardworking** * **Valid BC driver’s license and reliable transportation** * **Drug \& Alcohol\-free environment** * **Professional communication with clients, farmers, and co\-workers** * **Vegetation control for oil and gas sites, industrial yards, and town compounds (weeding spraying)** * **Operate application equipment and handle herbicides safely** * **Vegetation work including brushing, whippering, and mowing** * **Plant identification and reporting** * **Maintain and repair company equipment; mechanical skills are an asset** **TICKETS** * Pesticide or Assistant Applicator License (asset) * Level 1/2 First Aid * WHMIS (in\-house course available) * TDG (in\-house course available) * H2S Alive * Valid BC driver’s license (Class 5\+) **To Apply:** **Email your resume, cover letter, and valid tickets to the listed addresses.** Job Types: Full\-time, Part\-time, Permanent, Seasonal Pay: $23\.00\-$27\.00 per hour Benefits: * Flexible schedule * On\-site parking Experience: * Vegetation \& Mechanical Management: 1 year (preferred) Language: * English (required) Licence/Certification: * BC Drivers License (required) * Tickets \& Certifications (required) Location: * Fort St. John, BC (required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Fort St. John, BC
