Looking for a reliable, hardworking Mechanic Assistant/Laborer to join the team at this thriving and reputable gravel company that specializes in construction and aggregate supply and hauling. **Duties Include:*** Preventative Maintenance. * Assist in Truck and trailer repairs. * Assist in heavy\-duty equipment service and repair. * Maintaining a safe, clean and organized work area. * Other duties as required. **Knowledge and Skills Required:*** Valid driver's license, minimum Class 5\. * Mechanic Apprenticeship an asset but not required. * The willingness to learn and work hard is an asset. * Basic problem\-solving and troubleshooting skills. * Health and Safety Knowledge—OH\&S rules and regulations guidelines. **Principal Duties and Responsibilities:*** Daily maintenance. * Assist the Lead mechanic in various repairs. * Preventative maintenance. * Work with shop management to maintain schedules and priorities. * Follow procedures and guidelines. * Complete all documentation associated with equipment repairs. * Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. * Attend company training and safety programs as required.
