Hydrovac Operator

Job Description

Responsibilities: \- Operate hydrovac equipment to safely and efficiently excavate underground utilities and pipelines \- Perform pre\-trip and post\-trip inspections of the hydrovac truck and equipment \- Safely drive and maneuver the hydrovac truck to job sites \- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on the hydrovac equipment \- Follow all safety procedures and protocols while operating the hydrovac equipment \- Communicate effectively with customers and supervisors to ensure job tasks are completed accurately and efficiently Requirements: \- Valid class 5 driver's license and Q endorsement with a clean driving record \- H2S, First Aid, Ground Disturbance level 2, etc required \- Ability to dig and excavate safely using hydrovac equipment \- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately \- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments \-Will train the right candidate or help obtain air brakes (Q) \- must live in the Grimshaw, Peace River, Berwyn areas Note: This job description is not intended to be all\-inclusive.
