We are looking to hire an experienced **Heavy\-Duty Service Truck Mechanic (Journeyman)** to join our growing team in **Grimshaw, Alberta.** As a Heavy\-Duty Service Truck Mechanic, you will inspect, service, and maintain our range of heavy\-duty equipment. You will be responsible for driving to the job site, inspecting equipment, carrying out services, conducting repairs, and providing routine maintenance to a diversified fleet. Some travel to remote worksites may be required for extended periods of time. **Responsibilities:** * Inspect, service, and maintain a mobile and off\-road fleet such as trucks, trailers, and other heavy equipment for proper performance. * Adjust, test, and repair engines, steering systems, braking systems, drive trains, vehicle suspensions, electrical systems, and air\-conditioning systems. * Diagnose faults using computerized testing equipment. * Adjust equipment and replace faulty parts. * Repair damaged equipment parts and perform major repair work when necessary, including welding and cutting where needed. * Clean, lubricate, and conduct routine services on heavy\-duty and automotive vehicles. * Consult with other Mechanics and Supervisor when needed. * Prepare and submit necessary reports (daily, weekly, etc.). * Actively participate in the compliance of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Assurance System. * Perform other duties as assigned. **Desired skills and Experience:** * Licensed Journeyman or Red Seal as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. * At least 3 years of experience
