**Fire Extinguisher Technician / Alarm Helper** Full\-Time We are seeking a motivated and reliable Fire Protection Technician / Alarm Helper to join our team. This role is ideal for someone interested in building a career in the fire protection and life safety industry. The successful candidate will assist with fire alarm systems, fire extinguisher inspections and servicing, and support a variety of fire protection\-related tasks. This is a hands\-on role that requires adaptability and a willingness to contribute across multiple areas of the business. **Responsibilities** * Assist with installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems * Support senior technicians on fire alarm projects and service calls * Perform fire extinguisher inspections, maintenance, and servicing (both on\-site and in\-shop) * Assist with general fire protection system inspections and compliance checks * Maintain accurate documentation and service records * Ensure all work complies with applicable fire codes, safety standards, and company procedures * Provide general support across departments as needed **Qualifications \& Skills** * Interest in fire protection systems, alarm systems, or life safety industry * Previous experience in fire protection, electrical work, or a related field is an asset * Enrollment in or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program is considered an asset * Registration with or interest in certification through CFAA (Canadian Fire Alarm Association) is an asset * Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety * Good communication and teamwork skills * Valid Class 5 Driver's license Pay: $23\.00\-$30\.00 per hour Ability to commute/relocate: * Grande Prairie, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Work Location: In person
