**Field Technician / Product Representative** Definitive Optimization, a division of Tier 1 Energy Solutions, is a recognized industry leader and has an immediate opening for a Field Technician in Fort St John, British Columbia. The successful applicant will have a positive customer orientated professional attitude. Preference will be given to individuals with 2\+ years’ experience in the oil and gas production industry and/or optimization experience, such as plunger lift, fluid levels or wellhead pressure experience. The successful candidate must reside in the Fort St John, British Columbia Region. Successful applicants will be contacted for interviews. **JOB SUMMARY:** Responsible for all aspects of Field Tasks within Definitive Optimization. Scheduling upcoming work, preparing equipment for shipping or installation, performing on\-site work in a safety conscious manner, and recording all information acquired during the on\-site work. Communication between Branch Manager and Client to further develop equipment and/or services. **Roles and Responsibilities:** * Scheduling Upcoming Projects * Plunger Lift Installation, Service, and Optimization * Regulatory Testing and Inspections * Oil Optimization * On Site Optimization Training for Clients * On Site and In Town Sales and Representation to current and future Clients * Field Level Invoicing and Reporting * Cleaning and Maintenance of facilities * Preparation for Shipping/Receiving Materials **Knowledge and Skills:** * Refuse unsafe work and tasks and refuse to operate machinery or equipment they are not trained or authorized to operate; * Participate in all health and safety meetings; * Hazard assessments and accident investigations as required; * Follow all safety rules, policies, plans and procedures of Definitive Optimization and our clients; * Undergo any training as required in order to conduct their work tasks in a safe and efficient manner. * Perform all work in a safe and professional manner in accordance to all legal, legislative and Definitive Optimization requirements; * Report all unsafe or harmful conditions, equipment, tools, or acts as soon as possible to Definitive Optimization management, both verbally and using the appropriate report form. · To inspect before use and wear ALL required Personal Protective Equipment in accordance with policies, procedures and SWP’s within the Definitive Optimization HSMS; * Conduct regular inspection of premises, tools, equipment, PPE, work methods and work practices, at appropriate intervals, to ensure that prompt action is undertaken to correct any hazardous conditions found. **Qualifications:** * 1\-3 years experience in experience with oil and gas well production and/ or related services. * Valid Drivers License * Must reside in the immediate area; * Results from a pre\-employment test must be deemed acceptable in accordance with Definitive Optimization’s policies; * Results from a background check must be deemed acceptable in accordance with Definitive Optimizations guidelines; * Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
