Class 1 Water Truck Driver

Job Description

**Overview** Fire Ridge Transport is hiring an experienced water truck driver to support earthworks and civil construction operations in the Grande Prairie area. The role involves dust suppression, road maintenance, and general site watering on active construction sites. This is a local, shift\-based position; drivers return home each day. We prefer candidates already based in or near Grande Prairie. **What We Are Looking For** * Valid Class 1A licence (Alberta) * Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience working in the Alberta oil patch (required); backgrounds in log trucking or tanker work on oilfield roads are considered an asset * Valid H2S Alive certification * Ground Disturbance Level II certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start) * Standard First Aid with CPR (current) * Clean driving abstract: no DUIs, distracted driving convictions, or major infractions * Must pass pre\-employment drug and alcohol testing * Comfortable working in varying terrain, weather conditions, and active site environments * Familiarity with ELD systems and Alberta provincial hours of service requirements (NSC Standard 9\) **What We Are Offering** * Year\-round work with consistent loads * Competitive percentage of truck revenue; a pay structure that rewards experienced, reliable drivers * Full benefits after 90 days: medical, dental, short\-term and long\-term disability * RRSP matching up to $3,500 after one year of employment * Supportive team culture **Location** Grande Prairie, Alberta.
