The Opportunity Manzer Environmental is currently accepting resumes for Class 1 and Class 3 Operators to join our team in Peace River, AB. Operators in this role work across our fluid disposal and industrial cleaning service lines — the mix of day\-to\-day work will vary based on operational needs. This is a hands\-on position that requires active physical participation alongside driving. Experience is an asset, though training will be provided for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities *Vehicle \& Equipment Operation* * Safely operate Class 1 and/or Class 3 licensed vehicles including Semi\-Vac, Hydro Vac, Combo Vac, and Pressure Truck units. * Perform pre\-trip and post\-trip inspections of all assigned vehicles and ancillary equipment; report defects or maintenance needs to dispatch promptly. * Maintain assigned units to a high standard inside and out — Manzer invests in new Kenworth and Peterbilt equipment and expects operators to take the same pride in their units. *Fluid Disposal* * Transport and dispose of produced fluids, waste water, and recovered product in compliance with regulatory requirements and client specifications. * Load fluid independently using onboard Bowie pumps where required; operate TC407\-certified units for TDG product when applicable. * Set up and break down hoses, fittings, and ancillary equipment at each job site; perform all associated ground\-level tasks throughout the job. * Execute disposal runs across NE BC and Alberta, including remote well sites, production facilities, and industrial locations. *Industrial Cleaning* * Perform hands\-on industrial cleaning work including high\-pressure washing, hydro vacuuming, and tank and vessel cleaning — operators are expected to be actively working out of the truck, not cab\-only. * Assist with the setup, positioning, and monitoring of Manzer’s AI robotic water cannon and high\-pressure vessel cleaning tools. * Support Confined Space Entry (CSE) cleaning operations in accordance with all applicable safe work procedures. * Handle hoses, lances, nozzles, and high\-pressure equipment safely in close proximity to tanks, vessels, and processing infrastructure. * Assist with site preparation, containment setup, and post\-job cleanup as required by the scope of work. *Safety \& Compliance* * Work in full compliance with Manzer’s safety management system, all applicable OHS regulations, and client site\-specific requirements. * Participate in tailgate meetings, field\-level hazard assessments, and incident reporting as required. * Follow all H2S protocols, confined space procedures, PPE requirements, and TDG regulations relevant to the work being performed. * Complete and pass pre\-employment Drug \& Alcohol (D\&A) testing and adhere to Manzer’s D\&A policy throughout employment. Required * Valid Class 1 or Class 3 Alberta driver’s licence (or equivalent) in good standing. * Physically capable of performing demanding manual labour in all weather and field conditions, including lifting, carrying equipment, and extended time on foot. * Comfortable working in and around industrial environments including tanks, vessels, well sites, and processing facilities. * Strong commitment to personal and worksite safety. * Reliable, self\-directed, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a crew. * Willingness to travel and stay out of town as required by operational needs. * Must be willing to participate in and pass pre\-employment D\&A testing. Assets * H2S Alive certification * Standard First Aid / CPR certification * Previous experience with Semi\-Vac, Hydro Vac, Combo Vac, and/or Pressure Truck units. * Background in fluid disposal, industrial cleaning, or oilfield services in Northern Alberta or BC. * Familiarity with TDG regulations and TC407 certified unit operations. * Confined Space Entry awareness or training.
