**Locations:** Alberta \& British Columbia (Grande Prairie, Lacombe, Calgary, Metro Vancouver, Vancouver Island \& project\-based travel) Fraction Energy Services is growing our Civil, Municipal, and Mining divisions and is looking for motivated, hardworking individuals to join our team as **Bypass \& Groundwater Technicians**. We specialize in: * Municipal sanitary sewer and storm bypass pumping * Groundwater and construction dewatering * Creek/Stream Diversions * Long\-line water transfer systems * Pumping and fluid management solutions * Temporary piping and hose systems * Civil and infrastructure support services This is a hands\-on field position working on challenging and rewarding projects throughout Western Canada. **Responsibilities** * Install, operate, and monitor bypass pumping systems – float plugs, operate pumps. * Assist with groundwater and dewatering setups – sump and pump, well pointing * Set up and maintain pumps, generators, hose, manifolds, and filtration systems * Monitor flows, pressures, fuel usage, and system performance * Troubleshoot pumping and fluid handling equipment * Perform inspections, maintenance, and field repairs * Complete daily reports and communicate with supervisors and clients * Work safely around excavation sites, utilities, confined spaces, and live infrastructure * Support civil crews during installations, tie\-ins, and emergency response situations **Qualifications** * Experience in civil construction, water transfer, bypass pumping, dewatering, or oilfield fluid management considered an asset * Mechanically inclined with strong problem\-solving abilities * Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 considered an asset) * Ability to pass drug \& alcohol testing * Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions * Strong work ethic and willingness to travel * Experience operating electric, submersible and diesel pumps, generators, skid steers, excavators, or telehandlers considered an asset * Safety tickets considered an asset: * CSTS * First Aid * Confined Space * Ground Disturbance * H2S Alive * Fall Protection Pay: $350\.00\-$500\.00 per day Work Location: In person
