Job Description

Vertex Resource Group is accepting applications for a full-time third- or fourth-year apprentice heavy-duty mechanic in Dawson Creek. The position maintains and repairs company equipment, including semi-trucks and trailers. Tasks include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, replacing damaged components, preparing repair documentation, and testing completed work. Candidates should have the relevant apprenticeship experience, familiarity with hydraulic and diesel repairs, and a Class 5 licence with a clean driving abstract. The role requires safe use of tools and the ability to work independently and perform physical duties. First Aid, H2S Alive, and a Class 1 or 3 licence are assets.
